If you’re looking for us here are the details of where we are each week and when.
- Tuesdays at 6:30pm meeting at the eastern carpark at Narangba Station.
- Thursdays at 6:30pm meeting at the park adjacent to the main lake at North Lakes.
Other runs may also be arranged on a week to week basis. Check the calendar for details.
Everyone is welcome to join us for a run!

The next run in the Caboolture Road Runners winter 8k series will be run along the Deception Bay foreshore on Saturday the 11th of July at 8:00am. All N’Ba Runners regulars are welcome to join in and guaranteed of some solid competition as this run will include some of the stars of the recent Spectrum Fun Run. After the run you are welcome to stay for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat. The start location is familiar to our regulars however you can refresh your memory here. This course can be completed completely off road so is safe for younger runners.

Hi Runners,
A few of us ventured out this morning for the Spectrum Fun Run at Lawnton. Distances of 2k, 5k and 8k were on offer with most of us choosing the 8k option. None of us broke any course records but everyone enjoyed the run. The organisers mentioned that the results should be up today at http://www.spectrumfunrun.com/results.html.
I haven’t been turning up for too many of the runs recently so I hope a few of you have been showing up to keep us alive. Things should be back on track for me this week, at least for Tuesdays. Thursdays may be a different matter for the next few weeks at least.

It’s all quiet at the moment and I hear that numbers are down for the Tuesday run. Hopefully a few runners appeared at North Lakes on Thursday but I haven’t had any feedback about that at this stage. At least three of us have been sick this week so I am sure things will return to normal soon.
A few of us have been heading out to Bunyaville on the mountain bikes in recent weeks and as our (over) confidence increases so do the spills, particularly with all the wet, highly polished tree roots in those parts. Stir finally has his bike back together so maybe there will be another ride on the cards for this weekend. For those heading out for early morning road rides good luck with trying to keep the chill out!
Keep spreading the word about our group. I will try to get the new flyer completed this weekend. As we are just a casual running group rather than a Club the reality is that if no runners show up we probably don’t really exist :-).
Sunday is the final run in the Sunnie Coast Cross Country Series. Sarah is a potential trophy winner for the series but I think the rest of us might have to be happy with having been participants. It has been another great series this year and I look forward to doing it all again next year when I will be at the oldest end of my age category.

I have arranged a training session for my middle distance and cross country running squad on Monday the 8th of June meeting at the Williamson Road entrance to the Sheepstation Creek Environmental Park at 8:00am. Narangba Runners are welcome to join in.
